Our Story
Our church was founded in Washington before it was ever a state. We began life as the Claquato Church in Claquato, Washington just 3.2 miles west of our current location.
When the county seat changed locations to Chehalis in the 1870’s, the old Claquato church building remained behind and our new congregation began worship on top of the hill on 16 South Market Boulevard where we have been ever since. If you are new in town, you can recognize us by our church bells that play every hour on the hour.
As a United Methodist Church, we seek to do no harm, do all the good we can, and stay in love with God.
