Call to Worship
Led by Jean Long
You can follow the words to this Call and the Opening Prayer,
below this video window.
Leader: Come, you scattered and torn;
People: In Christ find hope
Leader: Come, you scared and lonely;
People: In the one who generously creates, find love.
Leader: Come, you tired and tense;
People: In the Spirit find peace.
Leader: Come, you confused and searching;
People: In Christ’s church find guidance
Leader: Come, happy or sad, excited or mad;
People: Let us join in the song of our hearts.
In this space and moment,
may our lives be embraced by God’s grace.
Opening Prayer
Holy One, mold our worship with your tender hands
so that the words of our mouths and the whispers of our hearts
find their way to you.
So shape our celebration with your gracious touch
that our prayers find a home with you, and our songs bring you joy.
Form this service and our lives
into an acceptable offering of thanksgiving and witness.
In Jesus’ name. Amen.

Prayers of the People
The Lord’s Prayer
Our Father who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name.
Thy kingdom come; thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread,
and forgive our trespasses
as we forgive those who trespass against us.
And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.
For thine is the kingdom, and the power and glory forever. Amen.

Friendly Caller is Coming!
Be watching your mail for this month’s Friendly Caller (newsletter) – You may also view a copy during the month on the CURRENT EVENTS page of this website!
Do you hear what I hear?
Well, not yet, but the bells are warming up! Calling all bell players! Soon we’ll have bell solos, duets and trios recording especially for our worship services. If you fit that catagory, you should have gotten an email from Mary Dahlstrom inviting you to volunteer to help out. If you somehow missed it, contact her.
Listeners, get ready! Be watching our worship for some home-grown special music in the coming weeks.
Take the Census!
This is an important event and will make a difference in how federal dollars are used to support special services in our area for the next decade! Take the census, if your haven’t already, and be sure to remind your neighbors to take it, too! It’s not too late!
