Call to Worship
Read the Call to Worship and Opening Prayer on your own, or follow as Barb Perry leads these on the video. (Words to the Call and the Opening Prayer are below the video on your screen.)
Leader: We lie down to sleep, and to dream;
We awaken knowing that God is in that place.
People: Wherever we are, we are in the presence of God.
Leader: We eat and dress and prepare for our day and,
moment by moment, the chance is offered
to know that God is in that place.
People: Wherever we are, we are in the presence of God.
Leader: All around us every minute there are messengers of God,
Whispering, shouting, serving, praying;
Until we realize, startled, that God IS in that place.
People: Wherever we are, we are in the presence of God.
Leader: We come from many directions to be where we are,
Where we dare to hope that God is in our place.
People: Wherever we are, we are in the presence of God.
Leader: Come, let us worship God in the place where each of us are.
Opening Prayer
God you are in each place, waiting in all our memories,
waiting to be part of our future,
waiting with us for all the gifts that waiting reveals:
for wisdom, peace, strength, hope, understanding,
for love, joy, confidence, patience.
Thank you for waiting with us as we learn to wait faithfully with You. Amen.

Prayers of the People
The Lord’s Prayer
Our Father who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name.
Thy kingdom come; thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread,
and forgive our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us.
And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.
For thine is the kingdom, and the power and glory forever. Amen.

New! REIMAGINING GROUP
chosen by the Church Council
Our first meeting was Saturday, July 11. We’ve begun plans for reopening in-person worship when the opportunity arrives. (That is, when the new cases of COVID-19 have subsided enough to be safe. So it is still months away.) Our conference has given guidelines and we need to fill in some of the details.
We can look at this as our opportunity to be innovative and creative in our planning and implementing of a new kind of gathering! Prayers for God to guide us, are welcomed!
“Coffee Hour” – Tuesdays 1:00 PM

To join the ZOOM (live) chat follow this Link!
This is an opportunity to see and hear other church people, share your joys and concerns, and pray together! This is sort of our way of replacing the coffee hour on Sundays! (Thus the name change!)
