 Call to Worship

Led by Carrie Helsing (with Jill Page)

You can follow the words to this Call and the Opening Prayer,
                 below this video window.

One:    Rejoice and be glad for God takes delight in us.
All:      We are Christ’s community.
One:     Sing to God a new song.
All:      We are a community that loves music.
One:     Come and hear Christ’s good news.
All:      We are God’s community that listens to
the good news of Christ’s love and acceptance.
One:     Even when only two or three are together at
one time, or “gathered” in unusual ways,
Christ is here in our midst.
All:      We are God’s community that prays together.
One:     With melody, praise and prayer,
Let us worship God who is among us today.
All:       Hallelujah!

Opening Prayer

Led by Jill Page

Great God, we move into this time and space,
all of our spaces
with our sight and sense of smell,
with our listening and our touch,
with our hearts and our minds,
so that we may live inside your stories.
Help us remember who we are as your children
so we may celebrate the purpose you
give us as your people. Amen.

Prayers of the People

Rev. Karla Fredericksen

The Lord’s Prayer

Our Father who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name
Thy kingdom come; thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread,
            And forgive us our trespasses
As we forgive those who trespass against us.
And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.
For thine is the kingdom, and the power and the glory forever.
            Amen.

“Voices in Bronze”

Well, not yet, but the bells are warming up! Calling all bell players! Soon we’ll have bell solos, duets and trios recording especially for our worship services. If you fit that catagory, you should have gotten an email from Mary Dahlstrom inviting you to volunteer to help out. If you somehow missed it, contact her.

Listeners, get ready! Be watching our worship for some home-grown special music in the coming weeks.
