Palm Sunday Worship, 4/5/2020

Welcome

BEFORE YOU TURN ON THE FIRST VIDEO LINK: Find something that you can wave around – Go outside and cut a branch or a frond or a flower – That’s how the people welcomed Jesus into Jerusalem, with whatever they could find! Even an artificial branch will do, or a houseplant!

Prayer

Gospel Reading: Matthew 21:1-11

(New Revised Standard Version)

Response

(If desired, wave branches and use homemade instruments)

Hosanna in the highest!
Hosanna in the highest!
Hosanna to Jesus from Nazareth in Galilee!
Hosanna in the highest!
Hosanna to the Son of David!
Hosanna in the highest!
Blessed is the one who comes in the name of the Lord!
Hosanna in the highest!
Blessed is the one who brings hope during difficult times!
Hosanna in the highest!
Hosanna in the highest heaven!
Hosanna in the highest!
